The bezel enclosure on an LCD firmly holds the LCD and stack up together. Components such as inverter, cables and internal frame must stay secure to prevent shifting which could ultimately cause data and other hardware failures.
AGDisplays offers a variety of approaches to LCD enclosure repair due to the variations of industrial LCD builds and systems in the field. Our initial evaluation of your units consider mounting configuration, bracket build/material, enclosure condition (damage/water intrusion).
Repairing or modifying existing hardware can be an easy way to shorten lead times and get your solution in the hands of your customer sooner.
Designing and manufacturing custom metal brackets, housings, and mounting systems allows AGDisplays to recommend and develop mounting hardware to best match the mounting conditions for your product. AGD can 3D-design mounting solutions for production by outside metal fabs, or we can do small scale customizations and repairs in-house if they do not require additional metal fabrication. AGDisplays also offers small scale sample CNC metalwork with 3d metalwork designs.
Sandblasting can remove paint, rust, and residue from oxidation from LCD bezel mounting materials quickly and efficiently. This technique can also be used to change the condition of a metal's surface, such as through removing scratches or casting marks. AGDisplays uses our small scale sandblaster to prepare and refinish small metal parts and LCD enclosures to smooth out the metal's surface. Your unit is left with no scratches, and restored to almost new.
Gaskets degrade over time. Replacing them due to a failure or in a preventative measure can extend the life of the display assembly and reduce costly damage from water intrusion into the system enclosure. AGD can source a variety of IP rated gasket materials through our suppliers and install in-house with our techs and custom jigs.
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is everywhere when it comes to consumer, commercial or industrial products. Typically, preventing EMI interference involves metal enclosures around a unit to completely block out external devices that may interfere in your LCD unit's functionality. Preventing the interference becomes complicated when the source of the interference is actually internal wires and components of your unit. AGDisplays brings you the EMI gasketing updates/repairs needed to restore your unit to work properly in the field.
EMI film or mesh solutions integrate quick and easy, requiring no redesign and allowing for fast production. Our service installs new EMI shielding, or replaces existing EMI system. While our transparent film and mesh solutions are our most popular solutions, AGDisplays also offers other EMI options to meet your design requirements.
Transparent thin-film conductive coatings provide LCD technology with great optical and EMI shielding properties. Typically the frequency level ranges in 100 kHz – 20 GHz. Films may be offered with conductivity ranging from 1 to 100 Ω/sq.
Conductive grid mesh solutions provide panels with a high level of protection. A fine-conductive grid may be built of woven stainless-steel or copper mesh, or alternatively made with a patterned conductive metal coating on the substrate’s surface
Work with AGDisplays to install quality membrane switch panel technology into your LCD. Our solutions are made with quality inks to ensure a reliable product. We offer custom key sizes, shapes and layouts; profile and force variations are available.
